Ticks mostly live in grass, shrubs and woods. So check your body well after a day outdoors. Ideally, remove a tick within eight hours, because then the risk of infection stays low.

Why the Care Plus Tick Out tick remover works so well

Never use alcohol or heat on a tick. In that case the tick may release harmful substances into your skin. A tick remover is therefore the safe choice. With the Tick Out you grip the tick close to the skin. Then you pull it out slowly and straight up. Thanks to the design, the tick stays whole, so nothing stays behind. In this way you also lower the risk that the tick passes on diseases.

How to use the tick remover

Hold the remover between thumb and middle finger

Press the back with your index finger to open the gripper

Place the gripper around the tick, as close to the skin as you can

Let the gripper close and gently pull the tick straight out of the skin

Disinfect the bite after removal

Note the date and place of the bite

Write down the date and the spot of the bite.
