The Care Plus® Anti-Insect DEET spray offers effective protection against various insects and ticks. The product works against common mosquitoes (Culex), but also against mosquitoes that can transmit malaria (Anopheles) and yellow fever (Aedes). In addition, this spray protects against ticks (Ixodes), which can cause diseases such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis.
The spray is available in concentrations of 30%, 40%, and 50% DEET, with the percentage determining the duration of action. This makes it easy to choose a suitable variant for short-term or long-term protection. The active ingredient, N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide, is known as a powerful insect repellent that is used worldwide.
In addition, the formula contains the odorless and bitter Bitrex®, which reduces the chance of accidental ingestion of the product. This contributes to safer use, especially in environments where extra caution is desired.
Furthermore, this DEET spray complies with European regulations (EU-BPR) and is registered for safe and effective use, provided it is applied according to the instructions.
