Care Plus® Anti-Insect 50% DEET lotion

The Care Plus® Anti-Insect DEET lotion offers powerful and long-lasting protection against mosquitoes and ticks. The lotion is effective against common house mosquitoes (Culex), as well as against species that can transmit diseases such as malaria (Anopheles) and yellow fever (Aedes). In addition, the product protects against ticks (Ixodes), which can cause diseases such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis.

The lotion is available in 30%, 40% and 50% DEET, with the percentage determining the duration of action. This makes it easy to choose a suitable variant for both short-term and long-term protection. The active ingredient, N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide, is known as one of the most effective insect repellents for the skin.

In addition, the formula contains the odorless and bitter Bitrex®. This reduces the chance of accidental ingestion of the product. This contributes to safer use in various situations.

Furthermore, this lotion complies with European regulations (EU-BPR) and is registered for safe and effective use, provided it is applied according to the instructions. The lotion form also ensures an even distribution over the skin and controlled dosage.

Note: DEET can affect materials such as plastic and painted surfaces. Therefore, avoid contact with, for example, glasses and equipment. Use by pregnant women and breastfeeding women is not recommended.
