Care Plus® Anti-Insect 50% DEET lotion

Care Plus Anti-Insect DEET lotion gives you strong, long-lasting protection against mosquitoes and ticks. The lotion works against the house mosquito (Culex). But it also works against the mosquitoes that can carry malaria (Anopheles) or yellow fever (Aedes). In addition, it keeps ticks (Ixodes) away. A tick can pass on Lyme disease, as well as tick-borne encephalitis.

Why Care Plus Anti-Insect DEET lotion?

This lotion comes with 30%, 40% and 50% DEET. The higher that number, the longer the lotion works. So you choose for yourself: short or long protection. The active substance is N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide. It is one of the strongest substances against insects for use on the skin. Moreover, a lotion spreads evenly, so you know how much you use.

Safe to use, too

The lotion also contains Bitrex. This is a bitter substance without a smell. As a result, hardly anyone swallows the product by accident. Furthermore, the lotion meets the EU rules (EU-BPR). However, always use it as the bottle says.
