Group tents suit anyone who heads out with lots of people. Think of scouts, a bushcraft group or a large family. At Broer Outdoor you will mainly find group tents from CanvasCamp. That brand has a name for canvas tents that last a long time and look timeless.
Why choose canvas group tents
The fabric is sturdy cotton or a polycotton blend. It breathes well, but it keeps rain out. As a result, it stays pleasant inside, even on a long trip. The tents are roomy, so everyone has a place to sleep and you can still move around. How many people fit inside depends on the model.
Using a stove in the tent
Many models have a stove jack. With it you can easily put a tent stove inside, for example from our tent stove collection. Thanks to that, you camp warm and dry in winter too. Torn between a tipi tent and a bell tent with several rooms? You will find both in our shop: see tipi tents and bell tents.
The tents in this collection
CanvasCamp makes its ridge tents in several sizes. The Apex 4 x 4 and the Apex 4 x 6 are true scout tents. Even bigger is the Mess Apex 5 x 6. In addition, there is the Traveller series. It consists of the Roman 3 x 4.4, the Patrol 3.5 x 4 and the Mess 4.5 x 6. So you can pick the size that fits your group.
What to look for
First count how many people come along, because the space differs per model. Then take the luggage into account. After all, a group with lots of gear needs more room. Want to use a stove? Then choose a model with a stove jack.
In short: roomy, strong tents for scouting, bushcraft and trips of several days. Take a look at the models below.
