Outdoor fireplaces

Outdoor fireplaces give you warmth and a place to cook. You set them up outside by your camp or, with a pipe, in a tent with a stove jack. So you get heat and a cooking plate in one. In this collection you will therefore find stoves and fire pits from Winnerwell, Frontier, Bison and Barebones.

Outdoor fireplaces for warmth and cooking

A wood stove burns calmly and gives off heat for a long time. Thanks to a good air supply, the wood burns cleanly, so you get little smoke. On the top plate you boil water or cook a pan of food. A fire pit is more open. On it you grill while you sit around the fire. Want more? Then add parts such as an oven, a water tank or a grate. Such a stove also works well in spring and autumn, when the nights are cold.

What to look for

First, look at the weight and size. A stove for next to the car may be heavy, but for a trek you choose a light model. Next, think about transport. Many stoves have folding legs and loose parts, so you can carry everything in a compact way. Also choose a sturdy model, because a stove has to cope with a lot of heat. Stainless steel and titanium handle that well.
