Description
The Sibley footprint groundsheet goes under your Sibley Bell Tent or Tipi. It protects the fixed groundsheet of the tent against dirt, wear and damage. So the floor of your tent stays clean when you pitch it, while you camp and when you strike it. That saves work, because you have less to scrub.
Why the Sibley footprint groundsheet
However, the base of a bell tent is vulnerable. Small stones, twigs and damp wear the fabric. This loose sheet takes the hit. As a result, the groundsheet of your tent stays intact for longer. The sheet uses 120 g/m² polyethylene. That is light, so you can easily take it on any trip.
A bit smaller than the tent
The sheet is on purpose a little smaller than the tent. If a groundsheet sticks out under the tent, rain runs onto it and water pools. That does not happen here. In addition, there are reinforced eyelets all round. With these you fix the sheet firmly.
