Rope

Rope belongs in every backpack. You use it to pitch a tarp, to tie down your gear or for a quick repair. Paracord is the favourite for this: thin, light and yet very strong. In this collection you will therefore find paracord from TOUGH-GRID, Atwood and more, from 15 to 305 metres.

Rope and paracord for outdoors

Paracord is thin, but very strong. You can tie it easily and the knot stays put. Besides, it packs small, so you can take a good length with no effort. Some types have extras. For example, there is paracord that glows in the dark and paracord with a reflective thread. As a result, you see your guy lines in the evening too, so nobody trips over them.

What to look for

First, look at the strength. For a guy line, normal paracord is enough, whereas for heavy work you choose a thicker type, such as the 750 type from TOUGH-GRID. Next, check the length. A 15 metre roll is handy on the go, but at home or at a fixed spot 30 metres or more helps. Also choose a colour that suits you: black does not stand out, while neon orange is easy to see. Finally, briefly melt the ends, because then they do not fray.
