The CanvasCamp Big Horn Ridge Tent is a rugged tent with a classic shape. Yet the fabric is modern. The tent is rectangular and tall. As a result, you have much more space than in most tents. So the Big Horn suits a family, a long trip, a base camp or a fixed pitch for a whole season.

The canvas of the CanvasCamp Big Horn Ridge Tent

The canvas is a blend of cotton and polyester, with extra reinforcement. This makes it strong, and it lasts a long time. The fabric keeps out rain, wind and sun. Yet it breathes, so it stays fresh inside. Moreover, you have less trouble with damp. So even in changing weather, the tent stays pleasant.

Space to live in

The ridge is high, so you stand upright and move freely. You sleep, sit and store your gear in one space. The straight shape helps here too: you put beds, a table and your kit wherever you want. A sturdy groundsheet keeps damp, dirt and insects out. Thanks to this, it stays clean and dry inside, even on a long stay. The Big Horn tents can be set up by one person in 5 to 10 minutes. Simply erect the frame, attach the canvas, stake the tent, and tension the guy ropes. The straight-wall design maximizes walking space and all-around ventilation. The tent is compatible with wood stoves via a separately installed Stove Exit.

Allow the canvas to dry completely before storing to prevent mold. Store the tent loosely folded in a dry, well-ventilated area. Clean with lukewarm water and a soft brush, without using any cleaning products. Treat annually with a water-repellent spray or wax to extend its lifespan.
