Care Plus® Anti-Insect DEET 50% spray 60 ml

Care Plus Anti-Insect DEET 50% is a 60 ml spray against mosquitoes and ticks. It works against the house mosquito (Culex). But it also works against the mosquitoes that can carry malaria (Anopheles) or yellow fever (Aedes). In addition, the spray keeps ticks (Ixodes) away. A tick can pass on Lyme disease, as well as tick-borne encephalitis.

Why Care Plus Anti-Insect DEET 50%?

This spray comes with 30%, 40% and 50% DEET. The higher that number, the longer the spray works. So with 50%, you choose long protection, for example when you travel. A lower number suits a short outing better. The active substance is N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide. It is a very strong substance against insects for use on the skin.

Safe to use, too

The spray also contains Bitrex. This is a bitter substance without a smell. As a result, hardly anyone swallows the product by accident. Furthermore, the spray meets the EU rules (EU-BPR). However, always use it as the bottle says.

Please note: DEET can damage plastic and varnished items. Therefore, keep the spray away from such items. Also, the product is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.
