Description
The Kowa Compact Spotting Scope TSN-553 Prominar puts the technology of the large Kowa scopes into a small body. The scope is just 27.1 cm long and weighs 810 grams. So you carry a lot of viewing power, without your back feeling it.
Kowa Compact Spotting Scope TSN-553: Prominar glass
The lens holds Prominar glass made of fluorite crystal. However, this glass is harder to work than normal glass. Yet Kowa still chooses it, because it gives an image with lots of contrast and pure colours. The fixed eyepiece gives 15-45x magnification. Moreover, you can focus from 3 metres, so you also see small things close by in sharp detail.
Ready for rain and damp
The body consists of polycarbonate and is IPX7 waterproof. In addition, dry nitrogen gas fills the scope. As a result, it can handle rain and damp, and the lens does not fog inside. Do you want to capture what you see? With an adapter ring you can link a smartphone to it. So you can share what you see with others too. You can find more scopes in spotting scopes.
In short, a small scope with the quality of a large one. See the specifications below.
