Description
The Kowa rain guard 44 mm is a rubber cap for the eyepieces of your binoculars. It fits eyepieces with an outer size of 44 mm. These are the Kowa BDII 32 XD, the BDII 42 XD and the BD XD series. The cap keeps rain, dust and dirt away from the lenses.
Why the Kowa rain guard 44 mm is handy
The rubber is supple. As a result, the cap also fits if the size differs a little. So it stays in place without touching the eyepieces. The rubber also absorbs a light tap. That way the lenses stay clean and intact, in use and on the road.
Never lose it again
The cap has loops for your carry strap. With these, the cap hangs from your binoculars. So you will not lose it in the field. Does it start to rain? Then simply flip the cap over the eyepieces. Afterwards you take it off just as fast. Especially in changing weather, that is handy. For more, see binocular and monocular accessories.
