Description
The Kowa TE-80XW wide-angle eyepiece has a fixed magnification. On the TSN-99 you look at 35x. On the TSN-880 and the TSN-770, however, that is 40x. So you get lots of detail. Yet the view stays wide, because this is a wide-angle eyepiece.
Why the Kowa TE-80XW wide-angle eyepiece is nice to use
The wide view feels calm. You see a lot at once and follow a bird with ease. That helps especially when you look for a long time. Moreover, the image looks bright and full of contrast. Thanks to the fixed magnification, that image stays just as good every time.
What to keep in mind
This eyepiece gets the best out of the Kowa scopes it fits. As a result, details stay sharp, even at the high power. Do you want overview and detail in one eyepiece? Then this is a good choice. You can find more eyepieces and add-ons in optical accessories.
