Place the tent on a flat surface and mark the position with the supplied measuring tapes. Erect the center pole and tension the fabric with the integrated crank system. Anchor the tent firmly with the long pegs, or, on hard ground, use the stainless steel base plates with weights for maximum stability.

For the StarShade 1500, setup takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes with one person; for the larger StarShade 1800, a second person is recommended due to the larger canvas area. Use the supplied stainless steel measuring cable to accurately position the anchor points. The tent is not intended for permanent or unattended use in bad weather.

Always allow the tent to dry completely before storage to prevent mold. Clean the fabric with lukewarm water and a soft brush, without aggressive cleaning agents; the coating largely repels dirt by itself. Store the tent in the included carrying bag in a dry, well-ventilated place and avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight when the tent is not in use. Regularly check the fabric, zippers, connectors, and pegs for wear. With proper care, the fabric typically lasts 5 to 8 years.

The StarShade Pro is compatible with transparent and white zipped sidewalls, available in three styles: solid panels, panels with windows, and panels with roll-up doors.
