Description
You fit the Stretch Tent pole cap on the centre pole of your Q2 or Q3 stretch tent. It fits both wooden and aluminium poles 76.2 mm thick. The cap sits between the pole and the fabric. That way the pole does not rub against the fabric and your tent wears less quickly.
Why the Stretch Tent pole cap
A stretch tent stands tightly tensioned on its poles. So a lot of force rests on a small piece of fabric at the top of the pole. Without a cap, however, the fabric soon wears there. This cap uses rubber that stands up to wind and weather. As a result, it protects the fabric year after year, even if the tent stays outdoors for a long time.
Easy to fix in place
The cap also comes with a screw adapter. With it you screw the cap firmly onto the pole. So you do not need to modify the pole. The recess at the bottom is 50.8 mm, and the cap is 170 mm wide in total.
