Description
The Winnerwell Stainless Steel Heat Shield is a shield for under your Nomad M or L stove. A stove sends a lot of heat downwards. This shield catches that heat, so the groundsheet of your tent stays intact. That is why it belongs with every stove in a tent with a sewn-in floor.
Why the Winnerwell Stainless Steel Heat Shield
The shield uses AISI304 stainless steel, so it stands up to high heat. Without a shield, the groundsheet under the stove can scorch or warp. The shield also helps outside the tent, for example on grass or dry leaves. There it lowers the risk of fire.
How to use the shield
First lay the shield on the ground and then put the stove on it. That is all. The shield is small and light, so you can take it along with ease. Moreover, it takes up almost no space among your other camping gear.
